Signage Advertising Opportunities The Providence College Corporate Sponsorship Program is a valuable asset to the Providence College Athletic Department as it helps provide revenue and support for all of the college's varsity sports. Providence College corporate sponsors receive exposure and recognition on a local, regional and national level. Corporate sponsors receive exposure through sidecourt signage, dasher board signage (hockey), public address announcements, game program advertising, ticket back advertising, game sponsorship opportunities, game tickets, web site advertising, and more. The Providence College Corporate Sponsorship Program currently has over 20 members with commitments ranging from $5,000.00-$250,000.00. Signage Advertising Opportunities Men's Basketball Scorer's Table Rotating Signage: The prime advertising location for Men's Basketball games. Scorer's Table signage is in full view of the television cameras. Each sponsor's signage will rotate throughout the game, giving each sponsor sufficient exposure each game. Providence College is a member of the BIG EAST Conference; commonly known as the most televised basketball conference in the country. Men's Basketball Press Table Signage: Another prime advertising location. The press table is 90 feet long and runs the length of the court. It is visible to 75 percent of the patrons when seated and virtually every patron sees the signage during entry, egress and normal passage throughout the arena. Men's Hockey Dasher Signage: Hockey dashers are constantly part of the action and continuously seen by the fans at Providence College's Schneider Arena. Dasher signage is kept in place throughout the year. Each year over 200,000 people visit Schneider Arena for Providence College Men's Hockey games, Women's Hockey games, high school tournaments, and youth clinics. Women's Basketball Signage: Providence College Women's Basketball plays its home games on campus in Alumni Hall. The Friars play in the BIG EAST conference, commonly known as the best women's basketball conference in the country. Everyone in Alumni Hall sees the corporate sponsorship advertising banner while watching a game. Friars women's basketball regularly hosts over 10,000 fans per year. Print Advertising Opportunities Ticket Backs: A very popular advertising opportunity because it contains over 300,000 pieces covering three sports (men's and women's basketball and men's hockey) and, therefore, provides high visibility. Additionally, given that the typical fan will view the ticket a number of times, it takes on additional value. It also offers a tremendous couponing and traffic generating opportunity. Schedule Cards: Each year schedule cards are produced for men's and women's basketball and men's and women's ice hockey. The schedule cards are traditionally the most popular sponsorship with Providence College Athletics. Over 150,000 schedule cards produced annually and distributed to Providence College alumni, students, and fans as well as the general public throughout the region. Game Programs: For each men's basketball game, Providence College Athletics produces a quality game program for sale at the Providence Civic Center. Game program advertisements are available in full or half pages. All game program advertising is done on a season-long basis. Game program advertising is a great way to complement a sponsorship package. Schedule Posters: Schedule posters are produced for men's and women's basketball and men's and women's hockey. The sponsor's full-color logo will be featured on each poster. Schedule posters are distributed to Providence College fans and students as well as to the general public in the region. Schedule Magnets: Schedule magnets are produced for men's and women's basketball. The sponsor's full-color logo will be featured on each magnet. Schedule magnets will be distributed by the college to the general public through Providence College Athletics venues and other sponsor locations. Game Sponsorship Opportunities A game sponsorship is a great way to entertain your clients and get involved with Rhode Island's most recognized sports team. Game sponsorships allow corporations to help build relationships with their clients while treating them to a first-class sporting event. Internet Sponsorship Opportunities I. Basic Packages - Cost per Thousand Model
Run-of-Site Banner Ads: Banner advertisements (728x90, 160x600 and/or 300x250 pixels) that will run in
rotation with all other banner sponsors in each banner location throughout the site.
Front Page/Section Front Button Ads: A static graphic button 125x60 placed on
the Corporate Sponsors page. This does not rotate with other sponsor buttons and
provides constant exposure to a sponsor.
Live Event Sponsorship: Sponsor Exposure on Gametracker.
These events include exposure on all CSTV partners' sites. II. Features: Section-Branding
Here is your opportunity to "present" or have a section "powered by" your brand with a
micro static button (size varies depending on site design): III. Special Sponsorship Opportunities We can tailor promotional packages to meet your specific marketing and promotional needs. Trivia Contest Features: Run-of-Site banner ads would link audience to splash
page where they can answer a trivia question and be entered for prize drawings.
This produces demographic information for all registrants. Trivia questions, answers,
and University or sponsor would provide prizes. Section Front "Pop-Up Window": Provides an "in your face" sponsor opportunity. A new browser window will pop open upon entering specified section of the site. Sponsor message can link to external home page or splash page. Cost will vary according to promotion. Audio Sponsorship: Section fronts can trigger audio clip of fight song, a player or coach's comment, or other audio clip. Audio clips (10-15 seconds) to be provided by Providence College. Video Clip Sponsorship: CSTV will provide video gallery to be presented by sponsor. Clips must be no longer than 30-60 seconds. Virtual Post Cards: Create a location on the site for viewers to send a virtual post card to a friend via email. Graphics and/or picture are required and can be provided by Providence College. Screen Saver: CSTV will create a downloadable screen saver for viewers that can include sponsor branding. Chat Session: CSTV will moderate Internet chat sessions with coach's or other celebrity presented by sponsor. Session shall last 30-60 minutes.
